After school art for youth 6 and up. (5 is fine if they can do focused work, we may have to cut down to 1 hour or 1.5 hour class if they can’t focus and I’d let you know if this is the case)
Drop off any time between 3:00-6:00. You keep track of time. **Please tell me your choice of time in ”messages” at check out or you can email me.
Students can use their time here to create in many available mediums and make some wonderful artwork. I will help them draw, paint, clay and plaster sculptures, whatever they choose. If they become a “regular”, I will send you a list of basic supplies to purchase that you can either leave in their private locker or bring in each week, but this is not needed for the first couple of visits.
If they make a mosaic or make jewelry, please add on $10. If they want to work with “authentic” clay that requires firing, please add the $10 for firing costs and let me know they’d like to do this, but this takes 2 weeks to do. Instead, I do have Air-Dry clay here they can use. If you’d like to purchase a 2.5 lb. container for them to keep, I have some here for $7

Follow along with me as we paint this, or a similar, lighthouse. Colors are your choice. You can also add any details you wish. Work in acrylics. You are welcome to bring in your own art supplies if you wish.
You’ll have your choice of painting this on thick watercolor paper, slate or wood. Please add $10 if you would like wood.
You can purchase art classes here in advance and print out the pdf to give as a gift! These never expire and can be used for kids over 6 years old to adult.

30 minutes before 11:00, I will be sending you an invitation via email or text message. If you would like to use your computer for a larger screen please include a note at signup that you prefer an email.
You will then click on the link that I send you and then you will be an active participant that we can communicate through audio and visual.
Please have the students supplies prepared ahead of time: Paper, pencil and eraser, acrylic or water color paint (water color pencils are fine), water container for brushes, and brushes and a few paper towels. Also, tape down a piece of thick paper to a surface with masking tape or use a canvas (acrylics if using a canvas) instead .
We will paint this whimsical painting. You can used watercolor paint, watercolor pencils or acrylics. Please have all your supplies ready before we begin.

You pick your subject matter and medium each day and I’ll help you on each step. Adults are welcome to sign up!
Choose from:
1) Draw, then Paint on paper or canvas. Subject matter is up to you. Bring in an image or we can go online for references.
2) Make a small clay sculpture out of air dry clay. They will take it home to paint it…or come back again to finish it.
3) Make a small mosaic mirror, approx. 10″, add $10 at checkout for supplies.
All supplies included, except $10 fee for mosaics.
