Youth Open Art-Any Project

Pick any 2 hours between 3:00-6:00. Please note at checkout when they will arrive. You pick your subject matter and medium each day and I’ll help you on each step.

Choose from:
1) Draw, then Paint on paper or canvas. Subject matter is up to you; Pokemon, Anime, Landscapes, Nintendo, Animals, so on. Bring in an image or we can go online for references. 

2) Make a small clay sculpture out of air dry clay. They will take it home to paint it…or come back again to finish it. Purchase your own air dry clay here for $10.  (*I do have regular clay, a wheel and a kiln here. Please talk to me if interested in this, add $10 for supplies for this option)

3) Make a small mosaic mirror, star, moon or birdhouse, approx. 10″, add $10 at checkout for supplies. (usually takes 1-2 classes to finish)

4) Paint a birdhouse, add $10 at checkout for supplies.

5) Learn to sew, bring in your own material or else add $10 at checkout and use mine. Machines are available to use here. I have some beginner patterns to use. (usually takes 1-3 classes to finish a project)

6) Work with beads and wire and make your own jewelry, add $10 at checkout for supplies.

All supplies included, except $10 fee for mosaics, sewing or jewelry. If you become a “regular”, I will give you a list of supplies to purchase and you would get a locker to store them in. 

Snacks and water provided.

Age 6 and up.

Masks may be required if CDC recommends it, please bring it along.

Paint this Landscape

Follow along with me to paint this nice landscape. I’ll show you how. All supplies included.

Juice or Water & crackers are provided.
Drop off at 6:30 and pick up at 8:30. Invite their friends, Adults welcome too.

*Ages 4 and under, they will need to be accompanied by someone to sit with them. (If you will also be painting, please add another ticket)

Monday Draw & Paint Anime

Drop off a 3:00 and pick up at 5:00.

Print out an 8 x 10 image of your favorite anime that you would like to paint and bring that in with you. It could be a print out of an anime face or an action pose.  I’ll show you how to transfer this and paint it in your favorite colors so you can hang it on your wall.

Juice or Water and crackers are provided.
Invite their friends!

*Ages 4 and under, they will need to be accompanied by someone to sit with them. (If you will also be painting, please add another ticket)

Age 8-ADULT Painting with Oils

This class we’ll work on painting using different mediums each time. In this class we’ll learn how to paint using oils and we’ll be painting this landscape. No experience necessary.

All materials will be provided, canvas choices: 8×10 or 9×12. Although you are welcome to bring your own.

I’ll Show you how to use oil paints and walk you through all the steps to complete this painting.
Adults can attend with their youth, just purchase one ticket per person.

If this goes until 12:30 then that is fine.

Tuesday Art

3:30-6:00 times are for youth 6 and up. (5 is fine if they can do focused work, we may have to cut down to 1 hour or 1.5 hour class if they can’t focus and I’d let you know if this is the case)

Students can use their time here to create in many available mediums and make some wonderful artwork. I will help them draw, paint, clay, make plaster sculptures, or learn to sew, whatever they choose. If they become a “regular”, I will send you a list of basic supplies to purchase that you can either leave in their private locker or bring in each week. The first couple classes of drawing or painting, supplies are not needed. *If they choose one of the other mediums noted below, these would require a supply fee to be added at checkout.

Now they can also learn to sew, we start out on a simple plush project. Please add supply fee. Sewing usually takes at least 2 classes to finish an easy project. (for teens and adults too!)

*If they make a mosaic, sew or make jewelry, please add on $10 fee at checkout.

Masks required for now.

I have water, juice and crackers, all included.

Friday Art

4) Sew a simple pillow or stuffed avocado, pineapple or pea with a cute smiley face; add $10 at checkout for supplies. (Requires 2 classes to finish)

5) Assemble a beaded necklace; add $10 at checkout for supplies.

Adult-Age 8 Paint

Invite your friends and bring the beverage of your choice. Paint along with me to paint this nice layout that you can take home to hang.

You can choose your surface:

  • Slate panel approx.: 10″x20″, add $10 supply fee.
  • Canvas or thick paper, approx. 10×20″, no extra charge.
  • Wood approx.: 8″x14″, add $10 supply fee.

We’ll be using acrylic paints.

Aprons and all supplies: provided. Cups and bottle opener I have here.

I still require masks unless you’ve had their vaccines.

**If you’d like to block of a night for a private party, please contact me and that can be done.

Closed Happy Easter

This is for adults to come in and work on your own artwork, only $15 ea. This is not a class where we provide education, it’s just a time when you can come and work on your own art with other like-minded adults and have fun!
Bring your own supplies OR you can purchase the supplies here by adding the “Supply Fee” at checkout or you can pay $10 when you are here. This supplies you with a canvas up to 9×12 or thick stock paper, paint, brushes, colored pencils or markers and palette to use. Whatever is needed.
Feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks. Cups and plates are available here.
Age 18 up.

Masks are optional at this point.
