I’m making this a Zoom class so if you want to sign up with Zoom sign up and I will send you the link to be in the class. Have all your supplies ready for it before 2:00. Paint your own painting on a prepared piece of paper, taped down on table or canvas. I’ll walk you through all the steps. Beginner? No problem!
*I have my 5 yr. degree in fine arts/painting/photography/metal smiting and printing. With a concentration of traditional oil and tempra painting from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts.

This class is for learning how to paint using different mediums such as acrylics and oils. We’ll be doing landscapes, flowers and animals. If you have a specific idea you’d like to work on, please bring in a photo of it and I can help you work on that. We can also use other mediums like clay, mosaics or sewing. Supplies are provided at first, if you become a regular, a list of supplies will be given to you so you can bring them to class.

Zoom Paint on Bottles Party. Open to all ages.
Please purchase a ticket for each person painting.
If you will be coming to the studio to paint: Masks are required. Purchase the “Painting here at the studio” tickets.
Please bring your own “label free” bottle, Remove the labels from the bottle that you are bringing, prior to our event by soaking it overnight, then scraping off all labels. Some glue residue remaining on your bottle is fine, we’ll paint over it. (or you can bring a wine glass, a vase, glass or plastic ornaments, any surface can be painted on) I have small canvases here available too.) I will provide all your supplies needed from A-Z besides the bottle. **i DO have some extras here if needed, I also have canvases.
Painting on zoom at home? Please purchase a ticket for each person attending the zoom. After you sign up, I will send you a link, a week prior to the event. Log in and join us while painting at home.
What you will need to Zoom at home:
- A “label free” bottle ( or any paint surface), remove the labels from your bottle prior to our event, by soaking it overnight, then scraping off label. Some glue residue remaining is fine, we’ll paint over it. Use Goo Be Gone to remove residue if you have that.
- Any Acrylic paint, Oil paint, or Glass paint will work for this project. Thick acrylic paint is best. Or sign up for paint supplies and we’ll get them to you.*
- *Check off which painting design you will be painting and Check off if you need a kit (paints and brushes) to complete your bottle or other glass project.
- You’ll need various sized brushes, mostly small brushes.
- A few markers of various colors, permanent marker is best, this is included in the kit.
- A paper plate is fine for a palette or plastic palette.
- Have a container of water to rinse your brushes out (larger is better: yogurt or hummus container works.
- Also, have some paper towels available.
- Fairy lights if you want to decorate it when you are done, but not necessary.

**if you don’t want to paint on a bottle , that’s OK! You can paint on paper or canvas, whatever ever you have. And please feel free to contact me with questions.
