Art classes for all ages

Today we’ll be having a Paint Party. I’ll demonstrate how to draw a cute holiday gnome and you can paint how you want! Adults can sign up too! All supplies provided.

In today’s fast-paced, screen-filled world, finding a space where kids can slow down, explore, and just be is more important than ever. That’s exactly what art classes offer—a place to unplug, focus, and grow.

A few hours spent in the studio can be a welcome break from the constant notifications and scrolling, giving their minds space to breathe and refocus.

Weekdays after school or weekend mornings, Express It Art becomes a haven where kids can relax, make friends, and explore their imagination under the guidance of an experienced instructor. They learn that the process of creating is just as important as the finished piece—and that lesson in itself builds confidence, resilience, and a sense of accomplishment.

Minimum Age 6 to adults. Drop off at 1:00 and pickup at 3:00

Great for Homeschool kids! If you’d like other hours for a class, a different day or even a private group, contact me to discuss options! If you need a different day please contact me and I will schedule it.
For youth 6 and up. (5 is fine if they can do focused work, we may have to cut down to 1 hour or 1.5 hour class if they can’t focus and I’d let you know if this is the case OR someone can stay with them to help.
Students can use their time here to create in many available mediums and make some wonderful artwork. I will help them draw, paint, clay, make plaster sculptures, or learn to sew. As a class, we’ll choose a similar project, like painting animae or a landscape, working with clay or a sewing project, so on.
If they become a “regular”, I will send you a list of basic supplies to purchase that you can either leave in their private locker or bring in each week. The first couple classes of drawing or painting, supplies are not needed. *If they choose one of the other mediums noted below, these would require a supply fee to be added at checkout.
Now they can also learn to sew, we start out on a simple plush project. Please add on $10 fee at checkout. Sewing usually takes at least 2 classes to finish an easy project, longer if they are brand new with sewing. (For teens and adults too!)
*If they make a mosaic, work with clay, sew or make jewelry, please add on $10 fee at checkout.
I have water, juice and crackers, all included.
Recommending mask wear. I usually wear one.

Paint along with me. Of course you will take home your artwork when you are done. All supplies are included for small-average sized artwork. If you want to paint on wood though, please add the supply fee. Age 5 to ADULTS welcome.

You pick your subject matter and medium and I’ll help you on each step.
Choose from:
1) Draw, then Paint on paper or canvas. Subject matter is up to you. Bring in an image or we can go online for references.
2) Make a small clay sculpture out of air dry clay. They will take it home to paint it…or come back again to finish it.
3) Make a small mosaic mirror, approx. 10″, add $10 at checkout for supplies.
4) Sew a simple pillow or stuffed avocado, pineapple or pea with a cute smiley face; add $10 at checkout for supplies. (Requires 2 classes to finish)
5) Assemble a beaded necklace; add $10 at checkout for supplies.
All supplies included, except $10 fee for mosaics, sewing or jewelry
