We offer classes for adults, teens, and children. We also offer special workshops, painting parties, and after-school drop off sessions.
We offer classes in a variety of media, including painting and drawing, ceramics, sewing, sign-making, and digital media.
The minimum age is 7 for all art classes.
Children aged 6 (or younger) can attend “Paint Along Events” as long as an adult attends with them, and assists with their project.

Oil painting is reserved for kids who have learned how to use watercolor and acrylics. After they’ve gotten good at these media, they can begin using oil paints. As a general rule of thumb, they will need to be at least 9 years old to use oils. Canvases for oil paint will need to be provided by the parents.
For the first two classes, I will supply everything they need. After the second class, I will provide a list of supplies to bring in.
I let the kids choose what they’d like to draw and paint, with approval. They can bring in photos or we get references online. They generally work on thick stock watercolor paper. Parents can provide canvases or canvas panels for them as well.
Drawing, watercolors, acrylics, markers, jewelry (additional fees apply), clay (additional fees apply), sewing/applique (if there are not too many kids), mosaics and occasionally epoxy (ages 9 and up). Oil paints are available for adults, and for youth (generally ages 9 and up) that have used other paints prior to oils.
Usually parents don’t stay. It gives you time to yourself, and the kids like the independence of being with other children. If you prefer, you can wait outside. Some parents do this, especially when kids are younger.
