DESCRIPTION:New! This is a beginner sewing class for youth-adult. \nAdd a “supply fee” at checkout for the first session to use my cloth and patterns. I always have a couple of machines here to use\, but if you want to bring your own in to use\, you can and I’ll help. This is what they will learn: \n\nHow to wind a bobbin\, thread the machine and how to run the machine.\nHow to read a pattern. (I will also show parents how to buy a pattern and cloth at the store)\nHow to lay out the pattern\, then cut it.\nHow to follow along with the instructions to complete their project.\n\nThey can choose between a plush pillow\, stuffed animal or *pj’s for the first project. (*If they want to do pj’s first\, please buy 2.5 yards kids\, 3 yards adults\, of flannel or cotton material\, wash it beforehand and bring that in with you-no fee needed for this option) \nJuice or Water & crackers are provided.\nDrop off at 12:00 and pick up at 2:00. DESCRIPTION:Great for Homeschool kids! If you’d like other hours for a class or even a private group\, contact me to discuss options! \nFor youth 6 and up. (5 is fine if they can do focused work\, we may have to cut down to 1 hour or 1.5 hour class if they can’t focus and I’d let you know if this is the case OR someone can stay with them to help. \nStudents can use their time here to create in many available mediums and make some wonderful artwork. I will help them draw\, paint\, clay\, make plaster sculptures\, or learn to sew. As a class\, we’ll choose a similar project\, like painting animae or a landscape\, working with clay or a sewing project\, so on. \nIf they become a “regular”\, I will send you a list of basic supplies to purchase that you can either leave in their private locker or bring in each week. The first couple classes of drawing or painting\, supplies are not needed. *If they choose one of the other mediums noted below\, these would require a supply fee to be added at checkout. \nNow they can also learn to sew\, we start out on a simple plush project. Please add on $10 fee at checkout. Sewing usually takes at least 2 classes to finish an easy project\, longer if they are brand new with sewing. (For teens and adults too!) \n*If they make a mosaic\, work with clay\, sew or make jewelry\, please add on $10 fee at checkout. \nI have water\, juice and crackers\, all included. \nRecommending mask wear. I will help them draw\, paint\, clay\, make plaster sculptures\, or learn to sew. As a class\, we’ll choose a similar project\, like painting animae or a landscape\, working with clay or a sewing project\, so on. \nIf they become a “regular”\, I will send you a list of basic supplies to purchase that you can either leave in their private locker or bring in each week. All supplies included. 10 to Adults\, (I’ll admit as young as 8\, but they have to have an adult sign up with them). (Supplies for this are expensive so this project is more costly) \n*This project requires you to wear a respirator or an N95 because of the fumes when we start using the epoxy (the last hour). Please bring one if you have one but I have a some here. Also\, if you have any special mini shells or gems you’d like to include\, bring those along to add\, but I also have some. \n*We use a mini torch during the epoxy process\, please bing your own if you have one\, I have them here too. \nThese won’t be dry til the next day\, you can carefully take it home or pick it up the next day. \nDon’t forget to like my Facebook!

SUMMARY:Youth Open Art
DESCRIPTION:Great for Homeschool kids! If you’d like other hours for a class\, a different day or even a private group\, contact me to discuss options! \nFor youth 6 and up. (5 is fine if they can do focused work\, we may have to cut down to 1 hour or 1.5 hour class if they can’t focus and I’d let you know if this is the case OR someone can stay with them to help. \nStudents can use their time here to create in many available mediums and make some wonderful artwork. I will help them draw\, paint\, clay\, make plaster sculptures\, or learn to sew. As a class\, we’ll choose a similar project\, like painting animae or a landscape\, working with clay or a sewing project\, so on. \nIf they become a “regular”\, I will send you a list of basic supplies to purchase that you can either leave in their private locker or bring in each week. The first couple classes of drawing or painting\, supplies are not needed. *If they choose one of the other mediums noted below\, these would require a supply fee to be added at checkout. \nNow they can also learn to sew\, we start out on a simple plush project. Please add on $10 fee at checkout. Sewing usually takes at least 2 classes to finish an easy project\, longer if they are brand new with sewing. (For teens and adults too!) \n*If they make a mosaic\, work with clay\, sew or make jewelry\, please add on $10 fee at checkout. \nI have water\, juice and crackers\, all included. \nRecommending mask wear. I usually wear one.

SUMMARY:Youth Open Art
DESCRIPTION:You pick your subject matter and medium each day and I’ll help you on each step. Pick any 2 hours between 3:00-6:00 \nChoose from:\n1) Draw\, then Paint on paper or canvas. Subject matter is up to you; Pokemon\, Anime\, Landscapes\, Nintendo\, Animals\, so on. Bring in an image or we can go online for references.  \n2) Make a small clay sculpture out of air dry clay. They will take it home to paint it…or come back again to finish it. (*I do have regular clay\, a wheel and a kiln here. Please talk to me if interested in this\, add $10 for supplies for this option-real clay takes 2 sessions to complete) \n3) Make a small mosaic mirror\, star\, moon or birdhouse\, approx. 10″\, add $10 at checkout for supplies. (usually takes 1-2 classes to finish) \n4) Paint a birdhouse\, add $10 at checkout for supplies. \n5) Learn to sew\, bring in your own material or else add $10 at checkout and use mine. Machines are available to use here. I have some beginner patterns to use. (usually takes 1-3 classes to finish a project) \n6) Work with beads and wire and make your own jewelry\, add $10 at checkout for supplies. \nAll supplies included\, except $10 fee for mosaics\, sewing or jewelry. If you become a “regular”\, I will give you a list of supplies to purchase and you would get a locker to store them in.  \nSnacks and water provided. \nAge 6 and up. *5 can attend\, may need a chaperone to sit nearby.
