DESCRIPTION:New! This is a beginner sewing class for youth-adult. \nAdd a “supply fee” at checkout for the first session to use my cloth and patterns. I always have a couple of machines here they can use\, but if you want to bring your in and use that\, you can and I’ll help them. This is what they will learn: \n\nHow to wind a bobbin\, thread the machine and how to run the machine.\nHow to read a pattern. (I will also show parents how to buy a pattern and cloth at the store)\nHow to lay out the pattern\, then cut it.\nHow to follow along with the instructions to complete their project.\n\nThey can choose between a plush pillow\, stuffed animal or *pj’s for the first project. (*If they want to do pj’s first\, please buy 2 yards of flannel or cotton material\, wash it beforehand and bring that in with you-no fee needed for this option) \nJuice or Water & crackers are provided.\nDrop off at 12:00 and pick up at 2:00. Machines are available to use here. I will help them draw\, paint\, clay\, make plaster sculptures\, or learn to sew. As a class\, we’ll choose a similar project\, like painting animae or a landscape\, working with clay or a sewing project\, so on. \nIf they become a “regular”\, I will send you a list of basic supplies to purchase that you can either leave in their private locker or bring in each week. The first couple classes of drawing or painting\, supplies are not needed. *If they choose one of the other mediums noted below\, these would require a supply fee to be added at checkout. \nNow they can also learn to sew\, we start out on a simple plush project. DESCRIPTION:Come in and work with clay to make a small figurine or a small bowl or tray using hand-building technique. You can either use “air dry clay” or *real clay but real clay requires you to sign up to come back for the final glazing step\, then you can return to pick it up or I can ship it to you as it has to be fired a second time. \nAlso please add on a supply fee if you choose real clay.* Real clay requires firing and is stronger and will last longer and looks nicer.

I always have a couple of machines here to use\, but if you want to bring your own in to use\, you can and I’ll help. This is what they will learn: \n\nHow to wind a bobbin\, thread the machine and how to run the machine.\nHow to read a pattern. (I will also show parents how to buy a pattern and cloth at the store)\nHow to lay out the pattern\, then cut it.\nHow to follow along with the instructions to complete their project.\n\nThey can choose between a plush pillow\, stuffed animal or *pj’s for the first project. DESCRIPTION:Great for Homeschool kids! If you’d like other hours for a class or even a private group\, contact me to discuss options! \nFor youth 6 and up. (5 is fine if they can do focused work\, we may have to cut down to 1 hour or 1.5 hour class if they can’t focus and I’d let you know if this is the case OR someone can stay with them to help. \nStudents can use their time here to create in many available mediums and make some wonderful artwork. I will help them draw\, paint\, clay\, make plaster sculptures\, or learn to sew. As a class\, we’ll choose a similar project\, like painting animae or a landscape\, working with clay or a sewing project\, so on. \nIf they become a “regular”\, I will send you a list of basic supplies to purchase that you can either leave in their private locker or bring in each week. The first couple classes of drawing or painting\, supplies are not needed. *If they choose one of the other mediums noted below\, these would require a supply fee to be added at checkout. \nNow they can also learn to sew\, we start out on a simple plush project. Please add on $10 fee at checkout. Sewing usually takes at least 2 classes to finish an easy project\, longer if they are brand new with sewing. They will take it home to paint it…or come back again to finish it. Purchase your own air dry clay here for $10.  (*I do have regular clay\, a wheel and a kiln here. DESCRIPTION:New! This is a beginner sewing class for youth-adult. \nAdd a “supply fee” at checkout for the first session to use my cloth and patterns. I always have a couple of machines here to use\, but if you want to bring your own in to use\, you can and I’ll help. This is what they will learn: \n\nHow to wind a bobbin\, thread the machine and how to run the machine.\nHow to read a pattern. (I will also show parents how to buy a pattern and cloth at the store)\nHow to lay out the pattern\, then cut it.\nHow to follow along with the instructions to complete their project.\n\nThey can choose between a plush pillow\, stuffed animal or *pj’s for the first project. (*If they want to do pj’s first\, please buy 2.5 yards kids\, 3 yards adults\, of flannel or cotton material\, wash it beforehand and bring that in with you-no fee needed for this option) \nJuice or Water & crackers are provided.\nDrop off at 12:00 and pick up at 2:00.
