SUMMARY:Youth Open Art
DESCRIPTION:Come in anytime between 3:00-6:00 for 2 hours. Type in Messages at checkout if they are taking the bus. You keep track of the 2 hours. \nYou pick your subject matter and medium each day and I’ll help you on each step. If there are many kids\, I may put them on the same project. \nChoose from:\n1) Draw\, then Paint on paper or canvas. Subject matter is up to you; Pokemon\, Anime\, Landscapes\, Nintendo\, Animals\, so on. Bring in an image or we can go online for references.  \n2) Make a small clay sculpture out of air dry clay. They will take it home to paint it…or come back again to finish it. Purchase your own air dry clay here for $10.  (*I do have regular clay\, a wheel and a kiln here. Please talk to me if interested in this\, add $10 for supplies for this option-real clay takes 2 sessions to complete) \n3) Make a small mosaic mirror\, star\, moon or birdhouse\, approx. 10″\, add $10 at checkout for supplies. (usually takes 1-2 classes to finish) \n4) Paint a birdhouse\, add $10 at checkout for supplies. \n5) Learn to sew\, bring in your own material or else add $10 at checkout and use mine. Machines are available to use here. I have some beginner patterns to use. (usually takes 1-3 classes to finish a project\, 4 if they are learning from scratch.) \n6) Work with beads and wire and make your own jewelry\, add $10 at checkout for supplies. \nAll supplies included for drawing and painting. If you become a “regular”\, I will give you a list of supplies to purchase and you would get a locker to store them in.  \nSnacks and water provided. \nAge 6 and up. *5 can attend\, may need a chaperone to sit nearby. If this extra person would like to do an artwork as well\, please add another ticket. \nMasks are highly encouraged and may be required if the virus is surging\, please bring with you. \nDon’t forget to like my Facebook!

DESCRIPTION:New! This is a beginner sewing class for youth-adult. \nAdd a “supply fee” at checkout for the first session to use my cloth and patterns. I always have a couple of machines here to use\, but if you want to bring your own in to use\, you can and I’ll help. This is what they will learn: \n\nHow to wind a bobbin\, thread the machine and how to run the machine.\nHow to read a pattern. (I will also show parents how to buy a pattern and cloth at the store)\nHow to lay out the pattern\, then cut it.\nHow to follow along with the instructions to complete their project.\n\nThey can choose between a plush pillow\, stuffed animal or *pj’s for the first project. (*If they want to do pj’s first\, please buy 2.5 yards kids\, 3 yards adults\, of flannel or cotton material\, wash it beforehand and bring that in with you-no fee needed for this option) \nJuice or Water & crackers are provided.\nDrop off at 12:00 and pick up at 2:00.
