I always have a couple of machines here they can use\, but if you want to bring your in and use that\, you can and I’ll help them. This is what they will learn: \n\nHow to wind a bobbin\, thread the machine and how to run the machine.\nHow to read a pattern. (I will also show parents how to buy a pattern and cloth at the store)\nHow to lay out the pattern\, then cut it.\nHow to follow along with the instructions to complete their project.\n\nThey can choose between a plush pillow\, stuffed animal or *pj’s for the first project. (*If they want to do pj’s first\, please buy 2 yards of flannel or cotton material\, wash it beforehand and bring that in with you-no fee needed for this option) \nJuice or Water & crackers are provided.\nDrop off at 12:00 and pick up at 2:00. DESCRIPTION:New! This is a beginner sewing class for youth-adult. \nAdd a “supply fee” at checkout for the first session to use my cloth and patterns. I always have a couple of machines here they can use\, but if you want to bring your in and use that\, you can and I’ll help them. This is what they will learn: \n\nHow to wind a bobbin\, thread the machine and how to run the machine.\nHow to read a pattern. (I will also show parents how to buy a pattern and cloth at the store)\nHow to lay out the pattern\, then cut it.\nHow to follow along with the instructions to complete their project.\n\nThey can choose between a plush pillow\, stuffed animal or *pj’s for the first project. (*If they want to do pj’s first\, please buy 2 yards of flannel or cotton material\, wash it beforehand and bring that in with you-no fee needed for this option) \nJuice or Water & crackers are provided.\nDrop off at 12:00 and pick up at 2:00. DESCRIPTION:You pick your subject matter and medium each day and I’ll help you on each step. Pick the 2 hours you want to come in. \nChoose from: \n1) Draw\, then paint on paper or canvas. Subject matter is up to you; Pokemon\, anime\, landscapes\, Nintendo\, animals\, portraits\, and so on. Bring in an image or we can go online for references.  \n2) Make a small clay sculpture out of air-dry clay. They will take it home to paint it…or come back again to finish it. Purchase your own air dry clay here for $10.  (*I do have regular clay\, a wheel and a kiln here. Please talk to me if interested in this\, add $10 for supplies for this option-real clay takes 2 sessions to complete) \n3) Make a small mosaic mirror\, star\, moon or birdhouse\, approx. 10″\, add $10 at checkout for supplies. (usually takes 1-2 classes to finish) \n4) Paint a birdhouse\, add $10 at checkout for supplies. \n5) Learn to sew\, bring in your own material or else add $10 at checkout and use mine. Machines are available to use here. I have some beginner patterns to use. (usually takes 1-3 classes to finish a project) \n6) Work with beads and wire and make your own jewelry\, add $10 at checkout for supplies. \nAll supplies included\, except $10 fee for mosaics\, sewing or jewelry. If you become a “regular”\, I will give you a list of supplies to purchase and you would get a locker to store them in.  \nSnacks and water provided. \nAge 6 and up.  \nPlease bring a mask if it is recommended\, or if you/your child is showing any symptoms. \nDon’t forget to like my Facebook! \n
